MEET THE DESIGNERS
I'm here to create your brand + tell a story for you because I have found so much freedom and independence in "owning" a brand. There is a soul searching that occurs when you dive into the branding process. We are going to learn about your audience together to intentionally design a brand that books you your ideal clients. The process we go through together teaches yourself about your wants, needs, style, and purpose, as well as your audience's. It's beautiful and I believe everyone should have a chance to do so at least one time in their lives.
I am simple. I tend towards neutrals but have no problem with some whimsy or some pops of color when appropriate. I love abstract and geometric designs but I also love organic, so I like to think my style is a mix between the two. I believe personality and back story of a person tells a lot about someone's brand, so let me tell you some personal things. Pais + Haze is named after my two heart throbs: my dog Paisley + my fiance Hunter Hazen. Soon "Haze" will represent my own last name. We are getting hitched on the edge of a mountain in a remote Colorado town. I'm truly obsessed with coffee + hot tea (specifically vanilla chai) and I only ever use lamps and candles for lighting if there is anything but natural daylight brightening my space. Flipping on that light switch makes me cringe. Calligraphy is my relaxation method of choice, because Lord knows I need a release every now and then.

OWNER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF THE BOTANICAL STUDIO
I have always been drawn to nature and the solidarity it brings me. As an artist, I have found that my work is geared in a floral / plant direction. I draw my inspiration from the 70+ houseplants in my loft, along with the constant fresh blooms that are always kept in here. My favorite flowers + plants are the wild ones - the ones that have no symmetry, the plants that trail how they wish, and the foreign flowers that are atypical to America. When I launched my floral + design company, I knew I wanted to create a brand for myself that speaks 'Raven'. I wanted my name to be one that was recognizable within instantly seeing my designs. That also ties into my botanical illustrations; I have always loved sketching what was in my sight and articulately studying the grooves and textures of my still life. My botanical illustrations directly link to my art degree background and quite often tie into the 6+ countries I studied art history in during my college career. I take pride in my art historical studies and how it allows me to successfully execute designs / illustrations for my clientele.
