Dalton Smiley was actually a student of The Guided Identity course, a “do-it-together” course that we launched Summer ‘18 where you are led through exercises to identify your brand color palette, mood imagery, typography, etc. At the end of Dalton’s time in the course, we took his identified elements and began to brainstorm his brand designs. It was then that I took the reigns and created his primary logo, alternate logo, and brand mark. The designs represent his personal signature in an abstract method paired with some bold typography that really shows his personality. His color palette and mood board were discovered through The Guided Identity course so his designs hinged on those pieces greatly.
